Management structure
Management structure of the project comprises of the following bodies:
Steering Committee – consists of representatives of local project partners: The Zlín Region, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, company JVM-RPIC, Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Zlín Region, Regional Development Agency of the Eastern Moravia, other key players in the region are representatives of companies and municipalities, important institutions dealing with the innovation and foreign institutions involved in the project are project partners Piemonte, Castilla y León, PERA.
Competence of the Steering Committee:
- participates in definition of strategic objectives of the project;
- facilitates achievement of regional consensus among key institutions
- helps successful implementation of the Regional Innovation Strategy
- monitors achievement of objectives of the project
Management of the Project – consists of 5 representatives of local partners of the project.
Competence of the Management of the Project:
- defines and updates workplan of the project
- specifies objectives of the project
- monitors and evaluates course of the project
- manages operations for the course of the project, and work of the expert group
- suggests and monitors publicity activities of the project
- communicates (through coordinator’s mediation) with European Commission
- initiates creation of concrete forms of interregional cooperation in the field of innovation
- carries out publicity activities of the project
- organises conferences and workshops
- cooperates with expert group and external subjects
- communicates with firms, research and development institutions, municipalities and other institutions
- carries out the administration of the project
Members of the Management of the Project:
Ivan Matulík – chairman of the body, responsible for the overall management and activities concerning the Zlín Region and all foreign project partners,
David Mareček – coordinator of the project, responsible for communication flow among project participants and with EU, responsible for financial issues of the project and publicity measures,
Jindříška Ondráčková – responsible for the management of the activities carried out by the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, mainly in workpackages 5, 7, 8, 10, 11,
Jiří Kučera – responsible for the management of the activities towards companies concerning the analytic phase of the project – mainly in workpackages 4 and 6,
Rita Lečbychová – responsible for the management of the activities concerning involvement of the companies and broad public – mainly conference and workshops in workpackage 3, conferences in workpackages 10 and 12.
Expert group – consists of experts working on the project (about 20 experts of all project participants).
Competence of the Expert Group:
- assists with establishment of the effective management structure of the project, and definition of objectives and methodologies and regional consensus building actions,
- helps with desk research, analyses, definition of objectives and structure of the Regional Innovation Strategy
- helps with building and performing the Regional Innovation Strategy and the Action Plan
- takes part on the conferences and other activities regarding the transfer of experience
- assists with developing the monitoring system for evaluation of the actions
