The aim of the project is to develop the Regional Innovation Strategy in the Zlín Region. Through the Action Plan the Regional Innovation Strategy will contribute to the growth in competition and develop an environment that is innovative and attractive for entrepreneurship, within the region. The European Union supports innovation strategies of its regions; and the Zlín Region is one European region that obtained a grant from the budget of the 6^th Framework Programme for Research and Development for building its Regional Innovation Strategy .
